Melbourne Water respects the privacy of your personal information and we collect and handle it in accordance with Victoria's Privacy laws.

When you apply online to develop or build, we require certain personal information so that we can assess and respond to your application. This includes your name, contact details and the location of your development. Banking information is not stored in our online application. For applications requiring payment, we use a secure Westpac online payment process which will collect credit or debit card details in accordance with Westpac's Privacy Policy.

Your application cannot be submitted without all of the required information and payment of application fees, if required. As part of our business process we may prepare anonymous statistical reports based on the submitted information. Melbourne Water or our contractors may contact you regarding your application or experience of our services to conduct customer research.
